‘Naked Soul’ is the name we (Jo Aldersley and Michael Howley) gave to our collaborative work with poetry and art. Initially written and painted through a period of struggle for both of us, the images and words often express similar emotions such as hope, despair, longing and love. As the name suggests, they represent the vulnerability, defiance and honesty of the soul laid bare.
